Thank You Stan Lee! We Will Miss You!

As many of you already heard, Stan Lee passed away at the age of 95 earlier today. While we knew this was going to happen, that doesn’t make it easier with the fact that this is sad news. I really wasn’t aware of the impact he had on my childhood until later. I did not grow up reading comic books, but I was first introduced to X Men and Spider Man when I was about 9 years old, through cartoon shows and video games. When I was 14, the X Men movie came out in theaters and that was the beginning of the comic book movie craze, so while I didn’t read comic books, I did watch these movies as I am a big movie buff. When I was 16 the first Spider Man movie came out and that continued to make a difference. When Spider Man 3 came out I started to take notice of his cameos, and started to notice the man responsible for these characters, and with the formation of Marvel Studios, I realized how big these stories are and how many characters there are at Marvel.

Despite all the fame, I was always great to learn how thankful he was for his fans, and within the last few years he would make it to many conventions and premieres or other events. There is a video where he told his fans that he didn’t consider them as his fans but his very good friends.

I enjoyed all his cameos in each Marvel movie. I also got a kick out of his cameo in Teen Titans Go To The Movies, as it was not expected, and it seemed like he was getting a kick out of his cameo in that. Below are my top 5 cameos from Stan Lee

1. Spider Man Homecoming
2. Spider Man 3
3. Captain America Winter Soldier
4. Thor Ragnarok
5. Ant Man and the Wasp

Runner Ups: Big Hero 6, Avengers Infinity War, Captain America Civil War, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2.

At the end of the day, I just want to say thank you Stan Lee for everything you have given us. These big superhero movies, the formation of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, all these wonderful stories, are all because of Stan Lee. Thank you.
